The primary hazard when opening raw CSV files in spreadsheet applications is automatic type coercion that destroys critical data. The ZechKit converter solves these issues through intelligent schema inference:

• Leading Zero Preservation (ZIP Codes, Phone Numbers, Identifiers): Alphanumeric identifiers like US postal codes ("01234") or serial numbers ("009811") are explicitly tagged as OpenXML text cells (t="inlineStr" or t="s"), preventing Excel from truncating them to numerical values (1234).
